Niagara Falls State Park (U.S., 1885) is the oldest state park in the country. Queen Victoria Park on the Canadian side dates back to the same era. The falls actually consist of three waterfalls, Horseshoe Falls is on the Canada side, Bridal Veil Falls and American Falls on the America side. One can literally walk to Canada and back, as I did, to enjoy the entirety of the water fall spectacular.
One could also bird at Niagara Falls. Around the periphery of the park are walking paths winding around rapids and Niagara Falls tourist attractions. In this Mozshare I photographed gulls, terns, cormorants, and song birds of all varieties. Unfortunately, I did not record sound, but plan to return so I may do so.
