Tim Harris loves the natural world as his equipment required to capture it.

Tim Harris is a fine art photographer and naturalist based in Fort Worth, Texas. After spending three decades in corporate America, he now works full-time on photographic projects that explore the quiet beauty of the natural world and the ways people experience it.

His work has been recognized nationally, including selection as one of only three Texas artists for the 2024 Mountain Plains Contemporary Art Biennial. Tim approaches photography as an ongoing exploration rather than a fixed style, drawing influence from historical art periods, observational photographers such as William Eggleston and Robert Adams, and the Japanese aesthetic traditions that continue to shape his eye.

Whether working with medium-format landscapes, candid moments, or carefully sequenced photographic mozaics, Tim seeks to recreate the sense of discovery he feels behind the camera. His projects often pair still images with sound, inviting viewers into brief, restorative encounters with nature.
